paspasa na-release ani sa DVD oi, bago ra gani gi-showing sa japan. woohoo!
if you are familiar with the works of makoto shinkai (voices of a distant star, 30 cm per second, etc) you'll definitely know you'll gonna be treated with awesomely stunning visuals, and in this movie, he delivers and doesn't disappoint. his last movie, children who chase lost voices, was somewhat lackluster, his first foray into a ghibli-like fantasy driven story, he bounced back in this movie and is within his familiar love story in a contemporary setting, which i believe where he's really good at. this movie has the same tone as 30 cm per Second, but this ends in a hopeful note, unlike the bittersweet feel of his past works.
