i mostly read non-fiction so i have to say the best book i've read so far is "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey.

If I only get to choose one then it would be The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran....then of course some of Paulo Coehlo's works and some of Gabriel Garcia Marquez as well....

I just finished Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice. I'm not saying it's the best I've ever read, but it sure does makes one think.

The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Really good. The movie will be out in 2008. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. Another good read.
