guys.. could you give me some idea of an internet cafe set-up usin ubunto?

- can it see files over the network?
- can it run printers like epson?
- can i use an application similar to cafesuite? (software to manage computers over the network specially lock down of pc before adding up time for it)

Basta nka update lang imong OS --ok nana. Wala na problem sa printer kay mga known printers gi recognise nana
sa Ubuntu --just keep update lang pra imong OS ug hardware magkasinabot.

yes, through samba

depend on the version... best way to check is to go to askubuntu.com or ubuntuforums.com

yes, via wine... there is also called ubuntu cafe, which is not free...

hi guys, quick question, im running ubuntu at home and I want to know what dash feature i have to enable to do this -- lets say I have google chrome open and its in workspace 3 - but Im in workspace 2 watching a movie, instead of clicking on the workspace icon to switch, what i want to do is click on the application icon on the dash and i want it to automatically switch me over to google chrome in workspace 3... I had this feature on, but i somehow disabled it while i was playing around in ccsm.... so.... how do i turn it on again? replies would be really appreciated... tried google, but ive no idea what query i should put in to get the answer im looking for.eheh

oh... and another thing, anyone here tried the f2p mmos for ubuntu?

its better to ask it askubuntu.com or ubuntuforums para dali rana ma fix... and try to check workspace nga part... i rarely use ccsm if it can be achieve through dconf-editor, i know in ccsm you control how many workspace you can have... for last option better reset compiz, i cant give any specific cmdline for i havent tried it....but a quick search from ubuntu fauna suggest it anyway if you encounter any issue with improper settings in compiz..

Uhmm ctrl + alt + left arrow or right arrow to switch work space.. Uhmm pwede pud center mouse then left click or right click.. Ambbot ug mo work sa inyo an mouse pero fore sure sa keyboard pwede..

nisuway nko s askubuntu pero nalumos mn ako question. reset nlng nko ang compiz. nya nag dconf editor nlng ko aron di masaag. hehe

Sa compiz manager ra pag adjust.. Tanaw tanaw youtube then checkmilang mga settings hantod makasabot ka.. Dali ra man sabton.. Ang pag mix sa effex lang ang points na dapat nimo tanawon ug ayo
