Much easier a DAC/Amp for the config: Source (computer) -DAC/Amp-Headphone. or DAP - Amp - Headphone.
Unsay brand naay separate DAC kanang medyo barato lang. Fiio does not have one.
--- JDSLabs ODAC is about $150 and has very good reviews, another option is the Schiit Bifrost although more expensive at about $350, this is prob one of the best sub-$500 standalone DACs out there

wala pa sya shop bro but you can contact him through his mobile or you can check their FB page (Powerup Cebu).
he's a trusted seller and has received lots of good feedback. you can also audition some of the items that you're planning to purchase (if it's available) during meet-ups.

    cheers!

@lespaulibanez Yes, basically easy to drive nah nga headphone..an Amp in your case wouldn't be a need. The X3 is good enough at MAX output voltage > 8 Vp-p and MAX output current > 250 mA. I'm NO Electrical Engr. but I based that info from what I have read before and here it is....this guide from James Chung, the CEO of FiiO, himself wrote.
Tips on how to choose a suitable amplifier for your beloved headphone

E12 is a dedicated Amp only. If computer source cheapest DAC from FiiO is the E10 (the amp in E10 somewhat on-par to FiiO's E11) has no batteries. E17 and E07K has batteries and can be used as portable amps...which you wont be needing I guess.

What would you be using this for? On the go? Home? Office? Do you prefer in ear monitors? For headphones there are on-ear, over-ear open and closed types to choose from.

Lots of players to choose from, iPod, Sansa Clip, Android phone etc.

I am a lawstudent on the go and would like a pair of IEMs because I commute through jeepney. However, I would venture into that months from now. I need the IEMs to suit my taste in acoustic, rock and classical music and would stay away from house or electro. What would be a decent pair for a Sansa clip?

    Thanks.
I have decided to go portable first and if the hobby bites me then i'll upgrade later to a pc set-up for home use.

For IEMs, I can recommend the Rock-it R50, pm fetzhola if you want to audition one.
