hehe yes mau jud im very interested in this sport but i need to buy another car and set it up for drifting. kay expected man kaayu na ma bangga ang drift car hehe sakit sa bulsa.. well atleast wala pay driver na seriously injured sa drifting. btw naa man nag baligya ug AE86 sa manila i think 450k lang (but dunno if all in ba)maybe he will strip everything out and return it to stock.. since its a drift car.. for more info just visit www.laterald.com and check out their forsale section.. enjoy
ay handy how often do you drift or practice?
what are the negative side of drifting? what brakes down
? any troubleshooting
? just the bad sides,.....
4get the tires,.... i have that taken care of,.... (im not gonna get the tires free but its gonna be very cheap)
i plan to get in it,...... once i get my project car,..... hopefully this friday or next week
cholo, i dont practice drift since i still didnt get a proper drift lesson and i dont have enough guts to drift my car.. hehehe
i think the only disadvantage of drifting is a drift car will have a high tendency to bumping, damages will depend on the venue/event.. example parking lot with a 4-5 inch gutter.. chances of damage are rims, suspension and hub area assembly, side skirts, fenders and whats underneath your car. it would be beter to have your car seam welded and the install proper rollcage, strut bars and beter handling stuff, to make it stiffer but will need to have your chasis realigned from time to time.. this is what i learned from the local drifters. hehe since i realy dont have a 1st hand experience on drifting..
but if the venue is in a track then its a different story, might have less chance of bumping..
is it possible if i can do this with my personal mechanicOriginally Posted by handy
? or i have to have this done in a shop with a special device
?
i think i saw a picture of you car that went off road,.... how did you get it out of that ditch?
how often do you touge up at that mountain?
for your first question. no you cant you need a shop that has a special equipment to do it.
oh you mean the accident 2 years ago. yea it was that jap guy who drove it. we were testing the kei office drift coil over at that time w/ the wrong set-up we ended up that way (w/c i sold after the accident lolz). anyway we realy did dismantle the whole front bumper and FMIC so we can tow it out and load it in a single loader tow truck..
we do touge almost every sunday. but ive been absent for quite some time now.. hahaha
is there a dis-advantage of using a car with no power steering for drifting?
kay wa may nindot na dan.. haha
