Usually ang reservations is done thru phone conversation so wala jud mahitabo nga payment ana unless naa kay site nga pwede sila magbayad thru credit card. Dapat mag research ka ug effective strategy nmo for Marketing, since diving business mana imoha I suggest you visit some ESL institutions and tie-up ka nila kay usually mga foreigners like Koreans and Japanese ang hilig kayo ana.Murag ikaw rman magbout ana imong boat boss pero dapat man siguro na nmo ipa register jud but not sure =D

Akoang suggestions are always ingon ani.
1) reservation fee
----- Most hotels kay mangayo man daan og payment for that stay period. So ig-book, pabayari daan ang ila gi-book nga periods. Or, if medyo longer ang stay, at least 50% downpayment siguro is reasonable na, balance to be paid upon check-in.

2) get more customers
----- Akong usual suggestion is : pakig-tie-up with travels & tour agencies and hotels
----- Provide free shuttle service from one point to your place
----- Invite diving instructors and offer diving lessons pod.
----- Do a "rewards program", (ex: 50% off to iStoryans "the best" , or 30% on second visit within 5 months time, etc)

Syempre, all costs are considered aron dili ta lugi.

in relation and in addition from above:
kato 1st 2 months namo, full payment na dayon ang reservation pero nagkadugay murag daghan mo atras sa full payment nga reservation so we came up for 50% reservation instead.

with regards to payment, pwede through paypal, credit cards, over-the-counter, etc... pero if mag sugod pa lang, murag lisod if credit cards ky ma chargan man ka ana in expense of using their service.

marketing:
- aside from making your own "advertisements" online, pwede rpud makig-tie up sa mga online marketers nga websites. Cheapest charge so far ky 3% sa gi-book pero if in-ana nga case, full payment gyud ni imo pangayuon nga reservation unless okay ra nimo half ang reservation then imo ibayad ky 3% of the total stay, hehe.

tasagaran sa imo market ana ky foreigners man, aside from the payment sa whole stay, pangayo pud og "security deposit" for possible damages which is refundable if ever wa rai nangaguba. challenging ni sila nga market bro. pero if naa ka maayo og PR and game nga staff, no sweat rana, hehe....

paghimo pud sort-of souvenir or any complimentary products nga unique bro. mas nindot if unique jud siya mura bitaw mahimo nana ninyo signature if ny makakita, kamo na dayon mahinumduman.

Nag problema ko gud kay ngano dako keu ug responsibility ang gihatag sa akoa kay kani lagi about resort nag pabuhat nami ug dive boat unya nana pud me dive hauz ang problema lng jud nku ang pag running sa business kay lagi no experience pajud ko ani mao ngeta ko ug mga advices.

Sa ni pm ug about sa kayaks soon bro will get in to it!... I'll pm you if ever ok na ang running! As of now focus usa ko sa diving.

Maybe in time bro, aside from outdoor activities, pwede sad ninyo i-consider ang indoor activities kung okay pa ang space pra in case bati ang weather, naa ra gihapon sila'y kalingawan and di ma bad trip.

Nice idea bitaw pud ning indoor activities bro unsa man ang pinaka hit nga indoor activities specially sa mga resort? Actually 1 hectar jud ni siya so lot of space siya but needs to be develop papud lagi kay some part naa pay mga cogon..
