If you can afford it, go get it. If your data is important to you, save yourself some headaches.
A PSU won't save your from losing/corrupting data when that brownout hits.
Get one with a Soft Switch, and a USB or RS-232 port in the back so you can set it up to auto save and shutdown when your system is unattended. Some of the good brands are APC, Tripp Lite, CyberPower.
