Accent o grammar?

Grammar is easy to learn, mas lisud accent.

See us pinoys, we're known as good english speakers but it's hard for us
to imitate pure "American Accent"

I totally agree.
Bisan pag nagskwela ug I.S. sa tibuok niyang kinabuhi - basta dili gyud nila First Language ma klaro gyud ang accent.

if i were to choose between accent and grammar, i'd always go for grammar. mas nindot paminawon ang eningles na grammatically correct. pero as for the question sa TS, i think accent ang lisod makat-unan. though naay mga tao na dali ra maka master sa accent, majority, maglisud jud.

Actually depende sab na. You learn proper grammar through school. It may take a few years pero you'll learn it eventually. Pero.. if English is not your first language, it's really difficult to fix your accent.

Exposure - depende ra gyud na sab.. Example: My sister came to the US when she was about 9 yrs old. Karon, English is her first language and naa siyay accent if mag bisaya siya. Ako, on the other hand, I've been living in the US for 20 yrs but I moved here when I was already a teenager. Bisaya will always be my first language bisag mas nagdugay pa ko sa America kaysa Pinas. But, if mag iningglis ko, I still have a slight accent. Mga pinoy dili maka bantay nga naa koy accent and they think I'm American when I speak pero ug mga Amerkano akong kastorya, they can still sense a foreign accent. In contrast, Akong Mom has been here longer than me pero she still has a thick accent when she speaks English.
