I'm also very much disappointed on the President's stance,
towards the pork barrel issue, I do not know what's behind the statement.
What happened is not really a way towards the so called "Matuwid na daan"
he should stand firm against the detractors of such a noble scheme.

I was a grade 6 student when EDSA 1 happen, together with my uncle we went there to participate, we were near the gates of Camp Aguinaldo then suddenly the tanks move closer and closer...people rush in front of the tanks and tried to stop it, more and more join in ..men, ladies, old , young, nuns, priests ordinary people...then i saw my uncle joined them and with a rosary on one arm they were praying and crying...that time they were all ready to die..suddenly the tank move back and everyone still crying and trembling ..hug each other..

My uncle pass away last 2008, he was a firm believer in freedom....freedom from hunger, freedom from poverty, freedom from corruption and most of all freedom from ignorance...

On Aug 26th count me in together with my whole family....

i'm very proud of your uncle & sorry to see him go. may he rest in peace. but he set a very good example of what a filipino should be. this rally is our duty as a citizen to fight for our freedom from oppression & corruption!

reading between the lines, i know our president & all the other guilty buttmunches are now scared because this movement is gaining a lot of momentum & we need to keep it up & fight for it!

look at him, "freezing all PDAF until this investigation is over", that is an utterly & embarrassingly feeble attempt to appease the filipinos.

if he really is as honorable as most blind yellow lambs say he is, then it is as simple as abolishing the CDF, PDAF, or whatever they call it, but is generally known as pork barrel. no buts, no ifs no excuses whatsoever.

dapat mawala jud na ang CDF, PDAF or any other forms of pork barrel kay mao na for me is the source of most if not all the corruption in our country!
