Okay ra na ang LPN, they can find a job when they are ALREADY here but no employer or staffing agency in their right minds would sponsor/petition an LPN from the Philippines when there is a surplus of nurses there.
The downside of being an LPN is there are certain procedures and documentation that an RN/BSN supervision is required.

i think the word is not phase out because that is illegal, otherwise that particular program should be categorically stopped. they prefer RN's more lang siguro.

Why settle for less, choose the best! So, RN gyud. Sorry sa mga LPN but honestly false assurance ra gyud na inyoha. Maau pa caregiver nuon kay naa pa gyud nka gawas ana daghan.

why choose LPN when there's an RN? the hospital i used to work with for 4 yrs. decided not to hire LPNs anymore ky they prefer sa RNs, mas vast ang scope of responsibility ky sa LPN (one difference is LPN cant give IVP meds) so dungag lang sila sa work sa RN kung unsa ila d mabuhat!
most LPN pod dri ky mo proceed ug RN degree nila. d man ni uso sa pinas ang LPN!

its RN's.but if ur an RN from r.p and u wish to go abroad to work...ur gonna study again i think at least a year before u can work in a hospital.thats here in OZ though unless u have experiences from other european hospitals coz i think its about the modern facilities which r.p hospitals dont have.

they merely have same basic jobs and most of the employer in US get a lot of LPN then headed by 1 RN its because LPN is cheaper then same basic jobs lang so why get expensive one with 80% function...

RN earn more money than LVN in the U.S.A. (according: LVN Salary)
BTW can someone tell me how much a LVN make in Philippines?
Recently, I read an article that said Philippines Nurse make more money than Singapore nurse. Does anyone can confirm that?
