    SPEED
    What is the respective speed of each vessel?

    These will play a big part in the ongoing CG investigation.

    The other day we were driving along the SRP bound to Talisay. As we approach the end of SRP, we reduced our speed. On our return back to SRP same thing we did. Reduced our speed. SRP has an island in the middle to separate the flow of traffic direction. Imagine if one car at any instant happened to drive thru the wrong lane.

    A POWER DRIVEN Vessel UNDERWAY shall exhibit a,b,& c only....


    (a) "Masthead light" means a white light placed over the fore and aft centerline of the vessel showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 225 degrees and so fixed as to show the light from right ahead to 22.5 degrees abaft the beam on either side of the vessel, except that on a vessel of less than 12 meters in length the masthead light shall be placed as nearly as practicable to the fore and aft centerline of the vessel.

    (b) "Sidelights" means a green light on the starboard side and a red light on the port side each showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 112.5 degrees and so fixed as to show the light from right ahead to 22.5 degrees abaft the beam on its respective side. In a vessel of less than 20 meters in length the sidelights may be combined in one lantern carried on the fore and aft centerline of the vessel, except that on a vessel of less than 12 meters in length the sidelights when combined in one lantern shall be placed as nearly as practicable to the fore and aft centerline of the vessel.

    (c) "Sternlight" means a white light placed as nearly as practicable at the stern showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 135 degrees and so fixed as to show the light 67.5 degrees from right aft on each side of the vessel.

    Speed? yes... naa gamay, pero all vessels using the TSS (traffic separation scheme) are required to have safe speed.. bisan pag 5 knots ilang dagan... ang imung basehan bay kung PILA katonelada ang barko

    lets say 10,000 gross tons ang isa, ang isa pud 10,000tons... bisan pag teg 5 knots rana ilang dagan = relative speed 10 kts= 18 km/hr.....
    ug mag bangga na bay imagina 10,000 tons collide with 10,000 tons sa speed na 18km/hrs

    sus!!! mura nag lata sa coke na giyatakan

    For sure mao jud na ila isulti na they tried to contact each other... alangan man pud mu ingon sila wala so sila ang mahulog na sad-an. But definitely naa jud namakak ani nila.. I just hope the investigation can really find out who's lying and unsa jud nahitabo...
