no question that our sympathy should go to the poor lawyer..
however the board's decision to strip her off from her license was just and logical as it would have been an irony to have a lawyer who breaks the law even if it's for a good cause..
Yes life is definitely a survival and prostitution may be a faster way to support financial necessities but is never the only way to do so.

She is a scapegoat but the horrid economic conditions in this country gives her no choice. Don't work and you can't finish college and will amount to nothing. Work but you can't disclose it to anyone because of the laws, culture and church's view. Burned either way.
Her body, her civil rights, her life, her choices and her freedom. Not yours.
Prostitution is the oldest business in the world. Cebu does have legit and legal professional escort or chauffeur services. I know one in Cebu that does a lot of promos as well as club deals. She's actually extremely nice.
bro, if you actually read the link the TS provided you'd realize that the event didn't take place in the Philippines.
hence there's no need to further elaborate on Filipino's take on prostitution or this county's economic condition.therefore making your comment irrelevant.
the TS was merely extending her sympathy to the poor woman.
since you've mentioned it, Prostitution has never been legalized in the Philippines.
even if we know a lot of people or clubs are doing it.
otherwise the said clubs would have straightforwardly flaunt the nature of their business rather than using cover ups such as "karaoke and entertainment bar"

what the hell that isnt fair man not everyone is born with a silver spoon lets face reality dili kaya cguru gyud sa babae na ma enroll sya sa law in legal jobs dili na gi dapat na gi revoke kay she's a ex-whore
moa lagi unta bro, ang problema lang, is prostitution is illegal man gud.
unya lawyer pa naman siya..
tabla ra nas mga tao who doesn't practice what they preach..
she could have looked for educational support sa ilang government..applied for scholarship ba kaha...
or nagwork ug mga ginagmay nga trabaho...
dili nuon prehas ka dako ug paspas ang kita compared with prostitution pero at least sa legal nga paagi..
ug dili mo contradict ug mu conflict sa iyang pagka abogado..
Walay kaluoy ang balaod kung naka sala nata...
Bisan unsaon nato ug lamdag, nakalapas man siya requisito sa board examiners... in our case sa pinas, ila man nang teritoryo ang PRC and/or Integrated Bar of the Philippines. Basing sa judgement nila, kung prostitute, call girl/boy ka and with sufficient evidence, pwede ka nila dili pa take-kon ug board/bar exam... or even stripped of your license.
Maayo nang sayo pa, kabalo na daan ang mga estudyante nga namaligya ron sa ilang kalawasan sa posibleng mahitabo nila kung masakpan.
