Oh yes, she caused the damage! A plain housewife with no experience in politics, and her presidency was handed on a silver platter, no doubt makadamage jud na! When Cory became the president of your country, prices of commodities skyrocketed. Ok ra man unta to kung nisaka ang mga prices sa mga basic commodities as long as musaka sad ang compensation sa mga tawo. Nya wala man. Ang ending, niresulta sa weak purchasing power.

Why blame Arroyo? Arroyo is still a better president compared to the two Aquinos!

I would like to lobby for a law that allows for handsome rewards for scam and corruption whistle blowers (say, uhmm P10 million) if an entrusted official in the Government is proven to have taken "people's money" in any shape or form. That's one.

And two, any Gov't official who is proven beyond reasonable doubt to have stolen "people's money" should be hanged or gets the death sentence -- immediately.

That should probably give us all the proper Gov't services and allocation of national budget we all need to fight poverty, fix roads, deal with the floods, etc.

Harsh, yes, but we need to shake things up if we want change. These corrupt mutherfvckers are buried deep within our Gov't that it's gonna be hard to weed them out.

It's hard to look at pictures of our fellow Filipinos suffering out there in our nation's flooded capital when we know there are individuals who have 9 pairs of sandals worth P360,000.00 a pair. WTF??

The Filipinos who wanted Cory to take over WAS the biggest mistake, ever! She established a constitution that is in favor of the rich, made a provision that would prohibit the foreign investors to own full ownership of the business. (60/40 rule) No wonder there are insufficient job opportunities in your country.

And now, Filipinos are suffering the consequences. Many people were brainwashed by the Philippine media. The media is responsible in demonizing the Marcoses, and making the Aquino-Cojuangco clan look like saints! But the fact remains that the Aquino-Cojuangco clan are nothing but wolves in sheep's clothing.

She did nothing for the Hacienda Luisita farmers. She was against the land distribution. No wonder she was also responsible behind the Mendiola Massacre that happened in 1987. And after two decades, she was diagnosed with cancer, suffered, and finally, died! (MIRISI! )

I was really hoping you'd get any of my points from my reply... Mura'g wala jud... Let me try again... I wasn't saying Cory is any good and your points against her could be correct.. BUT during the time of martial law, we had to pick our poison and for me and I guess for most Filipinos, Cory was the "lesser evil" and the only other option... We could've been worse had we not revolted and removed Marcos of his power.
