The early years of FM's rule was great. I think all things began to deteriorate the moment he planned to put the entire country under agrarian reform, and his ambitious mission to retake Sabah. He did not see that those around him were just waiting for the right time and took advantage of the situation.

Ramos had his pros like you mentioned but he also privatized some government assets. Erap definitely was for the masses since his win was because of votes from the provinces. His all-out war against the Moro rebels really bolstered his image as a bad-ass. However, this was cut short since President Clinton and Cardinal Sin(making a fool out of himself again) persuaded him to desist. He did not and then the demolition job against him was launched and he was ousted. He is by the way the only president after Marcos who won an election from the results of the votes, fair-and-square.

GMA, she was able to help our country pay our debts hence the reason we are now enjoying credit ratings upgrades. She was also responsible for paving the way to fulfill some MDG(Millenium Development Goals) but the efforts she put up was wasted by this admin. Another thing to attribute to her was the construction of additional infrastructures like roads and bridges. One example is that viaduct that goes from Mandaue near the new bridge and exits near the church at Catarman, Lilo-an, SCTEX was also her project.

For this admin? Nothing, but credit grabbing for all things GMA did sans the negative ones. Even the CCT project was initially by GMA, but it was discontinued because it was not sustainable and effective. This admin just picked it up and look where it is now.

To blame Cory's admin alone -- that would be unfair. I was not born yet at that time but MOST of the killings occured before Cory. NPA rebels were busy purging their ranks of government spies, the military were busy executing NPAs and their sympathizers.

Was Marcos' term better for us? NO. the insurgency problem started and NPA was stronger.
Was Cory's term any better? NO. the insurgency problem was weaker but continued until 1995.

I can say that it was Ramos who was able to instill peace in the rural areas. but that's another story.
In terms of project, it was Erap who had the most -- concrete roads, water system, electrification in just 4 years as president.
Worst was GMA -- even the farmers had none to eat because the price of rice went up from 24 to about 60 pesos at one point.
