Problem: Parallel to USB cable on Epson LX300+ on Windows 7 64bit OS

Nakasugat namo ani nga problem?

In our office naa two units of epson dot matrix printer

1- epson lx300+ II
2- epson lx300+

our old pc running on WinXP OS32bit
we bought computers nga core i5 then no parallel ports sa CPU.

so we bought parallel to usb CABLE.

so i installed epson lx300+ II using parallel to usb cable to the first new computer (windows 7) it works fine!

when i install epson lx300+ using the same cable to the 2nd new computer(windows 7)..diha na ang probs.
epson lx300+ kay mas lower version ni siya..karaan.

mo print siya pero dugay au niya i detect ang printing..

ex. 1 hour, 2 hours or even after i restart..dili mo detect dayon.

please help ..nag sige nako og follow sa mga gipang post sa internet..pero wala japon..

a complex problem:

1. make sure the cable is working

2. make sure the usb slot is working ; both on printer and PC

3. make sure the epson lx300+ works on win7 x64, because it sure does work with windows xp.

....but, is it plug and play with win7 x86 or x64 for this matter?

and fortunately the Lx300+ II works with win7 x64 : epson13765.exe < driver name, winrar extractable, might as well try it to install lx300+ on win7 x64.

wala rajud problem kung epson lx 300+ II ang printer, ang kani lang jud lx300+ ..wala may support..maynta naa..gikapoy nako pangita sa net.thanks

try using vista drivers, since d ma ni supported in win7 ang epson lx300+

dili jud gihapon..mag print..then mag restart pa ..una mo print..dili consistent..tried it sa laen nga pc with d same oS ..WIN764bit..problemado japon

sa imo na nga parallel to usb converter TS, Try other brands.

TS, wala kay serial port? kung naa, basin pwede db9 to db25 cable.
