Yup Gigabyte seemed to have the solid capacitors, but prob lang sa Gigabyte, they don't seem to offer very "good" mobos in a sense na not that well developed ilang chipsets as compared to ASUS boards.
Opinion ko lang.![]()
i prefer low end brand boards (epox, ecs, asrock) with good chipsets because the performance gap over those hi end brands with the same chipset is really not big except for overclocking but the price gap is quite big. i'd rather add the price difference for additional memory or a better video card it will surely perform better. pero ako ra ni opion ha![]()
MSI is a very good brand for motherboards... parehas ra na sila sa asus in terms of quality and performance.Originally Posted by butitoy
naa may mga low end products and duha ka brand... ngano nakasulti man ka ani bro...?
asrock on the otherhand, is owned by asus, and it only caters to the midrange to lowend market...
if you will change the option given to a MSI board with Intel or nForce chipset then most probably these guys will go for MSI.![]()
i will also not recommend buying ecs boards i encounter lots of problems from ecs boards....
i will also recommend MSI, Asus, Intel Boards.... and suggest nforce or via chipset for AMD...
I suggest not focus on the brands, check the latest capability on the chipset
-based on reviews mas maayo and NF4 compare sa VIA, now if wala pa ka ka palit, buy NF6 affordable pa gyud with 6100 Nvida onboard video
i recommend asus. but between msi and ecs, i go for msi. y?....mas reliable ang mga capacitors sa msi compared to ecs. good chipsets will not be justified kung dali ra sad mamburot ang mga capacitors...hinuon naa ra man say tig ilis ug mga defective capacitor sa mobo. most dead boards are attributed to defective caps.
palit lang mo ug kanang dali mo mobotod ang capacitors.. para ka kwarta sa ang mga technician.. ahehehhehehehe
I am planning to get the intel chipset p35..and so far asus and gigabyte ng offer na..for asus kay p3k5..mga december pko buy..mas cheaper napud na sha ana na time...right now naa sa $266 pa..
