Can't install Windows98 SE on empty but working harddisk..

Bai, i tried to install Win98 SE on an empty harddisk. At first, it seems fine, until the setup warned that it will perform a routine check. After the routine check, the system will reboot. Then after sa reboot, you will be given two options, 1. Boot from Hard Drive and 2. Boot from CD-ROM. Kung pili-on nako ang first option, an error message saying, "INVALID SYSTEM DISK. REPLACE DISK AND PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE." kung pilion sad nako ang ika-duha, mobalik na sad sa setup process.. Mo routine check na sad utro, then magpa-reboot na pud. Magbalik-balik lang routine check, then reboot.

Na-install na man ang Win98 adto nga harddisk. Pero naa to'y error nga "Windows Protection Error", unya dili nako ka-sulod sa Windows. Twice na ko naka-encounter ani nga problem. Sa-una ang akong gibuhat, gi-reformat naho ang harddisk and re-install Win98. Wala ko'y problema sa pag-install adto sa una. Mao ra sad ako gibuhat sa ika-duha pero mao lagi aho problema, mag-balik2x ra sa routine check.

Mao na ang specs sa PC nga ako gi-installan..

Harddisk: HP 3.02 GB
Mem : 96 MB
Proc : Pentium 350 MHz

Unsa kaha mga possible solutions inyo ma-suggest.?

e zero fill imo hardisk kung seagate na, or e repartition ang imo HDD
