The a6 and a8 are fm2 sockets. FM1 and FM2 motherboards will soon be phased out since kaveri APU will be on launch end of this year which is hapit na. If OP takes the Liano path, he might not be able to upgrade.

Llano is based on athlon X2 so apples-apples comparison sa computing performance pareha ra na sila. Naay Fm1 nga A6 and A8. Fm2 Trinity and Richland will fit on an FM2+ socket intended for Kaveri.

It has a big audience in the Philippines. Also, a cpu upgrade is not mandatory even after 3 years or so. A discrete gpu upgrade in the future will make more difference.

Do you know of the effect on consumption smaller lithography brings to the table? If you do im sure you can understand why they are not both 65w. You should research more before attempting to rebut my post.
