Yup sakto jud ka sa number one sir @keropi, that's why i suggest a4 to them kay ang ka.on sa kuryente, dba if mag negosyo kana pud maka ginansya, dili ang ginansya gika.on na bayad sa bill sa electricity hehe.

Well you have a point of mag discrete gpu ni sila, go intel celeron procs but if not, stick with amd on-board nlng hehe

In terms of general computing, power consumption will not make a difference sa iyang bills jud.

The a6 and a8 are fm2 sockets. FM1 and FM2 motherboards will soon be phased out since kaveri APU will be on launch end of this year which is hapit na. If OP takes the Liano path, he might not be able to upgrade.

Ivy Celeron is a good option too. Pentium okay ra pud actually. Price range pareha ra sa A6-5400k (trinity).

Llano is based on athlon X2 so apples-apples comparison sa computing performance pareha ra na sila. Naay Fm1 nga A6 and A8. Fm2 Trinity and Richland will fit on an FM2+ socket intended for Kaveri.

    1. How do you say that it will not make a difference? We are talking about piso2 units - at least 8 hours operation with 4 units the least. Even 10w will make a difference.

    2. Just because the socket will be phased out doesnt mean it (A4-5300) is less capable and cant be upgraded(FM2). Trinity will be here to stay for at least 2 years more even if Kaveri comes out. It has a big audience in the Philippines. Also, a cpu upgrade is not mandatory even after 3 years or so. A discrete gpu upgrade in the future will make more difference.

    3. Ivy Celeron < 2k; 5400k>2.5k

    Power Consumption comparison.

    .................................................Athlon x2 260........A4-5300

    TDP............................................... ..........65W.........65W......................... .......
    Annual home energy cost...............15.66 $/year..........15.66 $/year...................
    Annual commercial energy cost.......56.94 $/year..........56.94 $/year..................
    Performance per watt..........................5.36 pt/W..........6.56 pt/W......................
    Typical power consumption.....................52.81W..........52 .81W.........................

    They both consume the same.

If op really wants low power, Either ivy celeron or pentium is the way to go.

Do you know of the effect on consumption smaller lithography brings to the table? If you do im sure you can understand why they are not both 65w. You should research more before attempting to rebut my post.
