Given the current status quo sa pinas bai, I think it best to just come out to the people who matter to you. Well for me lang, kay if open and out na gud, di malikayan nga naa gyud kay masugatan nga close minded nga mga tao and ma affected ka sa ilaha when they react negatively. It's a blessing gyud nuon if your family and close friends know. No more awkward family's or friends' questions on "Naa kay uyab run?" " Nya kanus a man ka mag minyo?", etc.
