kanang imong 100,000 kung dili nimo gamiton na siya medium to long term (2 year or above - even 1 year lang). pwede man na nimo ibutang sa investment, bisan Mutual Fund lang (but i have a slightly better option than MF). People here can help, and Personally, I can help as well.

why don't they teach personal finance in school? mas makatabang pa tingali na nako karon...

ingon sa akong mentor kay ibutang daw ang emergency fund sa time deposit since di man sad na nimo gamiton...at least ga earn sya interest tapos risk free pa jd.

dili ba maglisod ta ug withdraw ana in case of emergency? or with penalty?

    Default mao ra gihapon

mas maayo kung sa mutual fund. mas liquid cya compared sa uban. meaning dali ra nmo makuha imong money in case of emergency. if withdrawhon nmo within 6 months ra naay exit fee. mas dako pa jud ang gains. wla ra mn kau risk ang mutual fund. cla na mismo ang nagmanage sa imong portfolio. so no need to do the research unlike stocks

Bro, ang emergency fund, separate money jud ni nimo para sa mga emergency nga panginahanglan. yes, this should be in savings account, passbook or atm. purpose is para di malabtan ang imoha mga pang long term savings like sa imoha stocks, mutual funds or UITF. it takes discipline jud nuon bai. di nato ibutang pud as time deposit kay naa man nay withholding period...

Use your head, do not procrastinate. If you have money, make it work for you while you are working. Right now, I have a good career, a decent paying Job, but my investments returns are in the 6 digit figure per month. And it started from 0. This is not bragging, you people do not know me personally therefore there is no point in bragging. I just want you to become disciplined pud, saka na lang mugasto ug taman naa nay passive income. ayaw lang sad palabian ug tipid (like mga insik nga datu karon) bisan 9 figures na ang kwarta sa banko, 60+ na ang edad, inot gihapon sa tanan. ambot kung madala nila ang kwarta sa langit (kung malangit man gani). so antos lang while you start, if you have passive income, hala gasto moderately, do not deprive yourself from a little luxuries in life. do what you want while you are young, go where you want, eat what you crave (moderately), kay kung tigulang na ka, dili na nimo mabuhat ang tanan.

Keep track of your targets, networth (even once a month), have a spreadsheet to keep track of it.
    wow pwede masuya? zzzzzz.
