Video
The Lenovo 3000 G400 model 14001 has a 14.1-inch Widescreen with new VibrantView technology. Video is integrated on the GMA 950 graphics chipset with 128MB of video memory, offering 1280 x 800 pixels and16.7 million colors in screen resolution. Processor
The Lenovo 3000 G400 model 14001 comes with a 1.73 GHz Intel Dual Core processor with a BUS speed of 533MHz and 1 MB of L2 Cache. The motherboard features an Intel945GM Express Chipset to complement the high-speed processor. It is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Linux operating systems. It is equipped with features like pre-installed DOS, which allows computer buffs to personalize their Windows environment. RAM
Equipped with 512 MB of DDR2 533 SDRAM memory, this model can be upgraded to 2 GB. However, there are only two memory slots available, so the existing RAM would need to be replaced with a 1GB module.
Drives
The Lenovo 3000 is equipped with a 24x DV writer allowing users to view and record their own DVD up to 8.5 GB. It comes with an 80GB hard drive operating up to 5400 RPM. Features associated with these drives are the integrated Dolby Home Theater system, including speakers and 2.5W subwoofers. These offer high-quality sound when playing CDs, media files or movies in the DVD drive.
