    Default Lag-lag barya GANG attack!

Yesterday a very good friend of mine nabiktima aning modus dinha sa AS Fortuna dapit. When we went to the Police Station yesterday, ingon sa mga pulis ang mga laglag barya gang attack places from Talamban, Country Mall, A.S. Fortuna, Highway to Lapu Lapu.

Ang kawatan is 50 year old plus Male with 2 other companions. Would you believe that a 50 year old plus Male mangawat pa?

Beware to all the people who read this message. Please be careful specially to those people who are commuting. It is not always safe to take a jeepney.

    My cents.

PS. Puros mga naka back pack ang mga kawatan. Mao diay ni ila modus. Calling the vigilantes in Cebu please e apil ni ninyo ang dire sa Mandaue ug Mactan. Salamat!

Thank you, Progress Philippines, for this information. I work in the Banilad area and travel through AS Fortuna in going home. This would help keep me and others alert and have an eye out on these criminals.

Though I do not agree with the sentiment with your last statement, calling all vigilantes. It seems contrary to your iStoryan nick.. in a word, so counter-progress.

It's best that police should make themselves visible and available in such crime-prone areas to deter such petty criminals in commiting such acts.

Can anyone please share information of how this laglag barya gang works? What is their modus operandi? Anyone? Progress Philippines, could you please share details of your friend's experience so as to better inform the other iStoryans? That would be so kind of you if you could.

Please keep on-topic. There is another thread all about vigilantes and their activities in this board. Just a friendly reminder, so please let's keep it at that.

For your kind consideration. Have a nice day posting.

They drop coins... and desperately finding it... pangkuha ra ni attention sa biktima, mura og magic.
They always bring bags to cover their hands, while doing their thing (pickpocket or slicing your bag).

kong magdala og bag onya ang kamot ibutang ilawom sa bag... bantay2x lng mo ana.

    Mao ni ang nahitabo.

My poor friend of mine took a jeepney on way to work. Inig sakay niya , naa tulo ka tawo nisakay pud at the same time. Bale sa sulod sa multicab, 9 sila kabook. Lima sa other side ug 4 sa other side. Ang tiguwang nga kawatan, sat beside him. Tapos sige ug push or squirming niya. Mga 5 times daw. Then iya kauban ninaog pero gipangtagak ang coins. Na distract siya, after ato nanaog paspas ang tiguwang pero ang usa nahabilin pa sa jeep. Inig abot niya sa jollibee a.s. fortuna, whew diha pa niya na realize nga nakawat na diay iya celfon from his pocket. Grabeh!

We actually went to the police station, ang kawatan naa picture didto. My friend is on way to sue this old man but the question is kung madakpan ba ni siya nga kawatan.

Pagbantay jud mo mga ka istoryans and to all the people commuting these areas: Talamban, Country Mall, A.S. Fortuna, Highway ug Mactan.

    Salamat.
