    Default "JAZZ" or "ROCK"

Im confused in what Genre should i go in to. I love to listen 2 jazz music very much but rock music is very easy to play!!! I decided that ill get in to rock first then Jazz.

    PLAN A:
"Play rock to familiraize all the scales in the fingerboard and theories, then, shift 2 jazz so it would be much more easier to understand all the bizarre jazz theories"

    PLAN B:
"Kung dli madala ang Jazz, mag rocker na lang ko!

I listen to jazz alot but my style end up sounding rock. my listening doesn't sink in with my playing. so actually I'm getting from both worlds.

u don't force yourself to listen to jazz.. you'll understand it when the time is right.. i've just started getting the feel for it, the last 2 years.. hehehe.. a person can never force oneself to be good at something he doesn't like...

rock and jazz have very different feel... shifting from rock to jazz might deem unlearning that rock feel that has crept into your system.

as u move forward musically, i don't think there is a more dynamic genre than jazz.. lately, i've been listening to jazz more and more.. i used to be almost exclusive to rock.. but it does really get tiring sometimes...

jazz is an inevitability in the course of musical exploration..
