we'll never know what the ts does hehe, but I'd assume he's no ordinary multitasker given the program he's running. The FX8350 is known to excel in that department.

Bisag unsa nga intel quadcore TS go go go pero kung new build so suggest nako Haswell, 8GB memory, pag ssd, efficient psu, ipa awahi lang ng dedicated video card, unaha tong uban nga mas importante, i think doable ng gpu sa haswell... Kung gusto kag dedicated gpu suggest nako GTX 650 or better nga dako ug memory...

go HASWELL Intel Core i5 4570 + AsRock B85M-HDS @PhP3750 which is a tier with Fx8350 in performance and price but consumes a lot less Veco juice.
but the REAL BANG for BUCKS is the bundle by jus23 ( i7 2600 + mobo ) and BURN_BaD's i7 2600@ PhP7.5K

AMD can not beat it on any bench, except OC
well dam..for render have it taken cared off by the CUDA or Open CL..< both are present with GT640

bro butitoy, only on OC numbers lang ha... in Ghz value... performance wise, it's still intel's... software micro codes still utilizes intel cores more efficiently... mao man lagi ni si supportahan sa mga software companies... also, bisan gamay ra ang number sa intel cores, mas efficient pud sa in processing data. in short, mas powerful ang design sa intel in crunching data... mao ni ang dako na challenge sa AMD unsa ni nila'g beat... but hey, they beat Intel once, dba? during the Athlon and P4 days... how about the 2nd time? hehehe... dugaya pud aning 2nd time oi... para the "real CPU battle" will begin anew...

^kung ako papilion FX-83XX reason? future proofing, kana kung mag upgrade ang ts for next 2 or 3 years efficient jud ang i5 ivy/haswell. pero kung di man gani i would go for Octa rather than the Quad you gotta think in the long run if he decides to keep his system for next 4-6 years Octa it is or 2-3 years then kudos for Quad. True intel is efficient but can they last in the long run? True that intel has faster IPC but I'd rather have 8 stingers than 4 stingers.
