I think wala na ni ang drop box option karon. I heard about VRP (Visa Reissuance Program) na. When your visa expires, no more consul interview. Mobayad lang ka sa fees and adto sa US Embassy para pa fingerprint then automatic renew na imo visa. However, this applies to those natagaan ug 5 or 10yrs Visas and without problems sa ila stay (overstay sa US).

Add on lang TS. During my first interview, wala nako magstay ug hotel. I only took the first flight from Cebu to Manila. I think 415am guro to. My interview was 7am. Hayahay raman, kaya ra kaau ang sked. My return flight was 2pm.

WOW.. ako kay nilaag ko gamay kay first time pa man nakaadto ug Manila...naihas..hahahaha nya nakarealize ko nga mas nindot jud diay ang Cebu... I love Cebu!!! With regards sa VRP, that is also true. naa ko sa M Manila Hotel.. pero naay mas duol and cheaper.. I do not know the exact prices pero, i-search lang.. Ang hotel nga akong gistay-han kay mag-usab2x ang price kay nagpabook man ko online. so, kung sayo ka magpabook, say 2-3 months prior, mas barato siya, same sa airfare.. naa ko sa Agoda.com.ph nangita ani..

Oh.. i forgot to inform you guys, i got a multiple entry with a 10-year expiration.. YAY! I sooo wanted to post the pic but there's no option for me to do it.. Anyway, will be leaving the country on August 1.. less than a month from now )

Congrats! naka relate jud ko sa imo story. same sad sa nahitabo sa ako. my interview was less than 3 minutes. only 4 questions ra. based sa akong mga na researched sa mga blogs, short answers lang jud ang itubag. got 10 yrs multiple entry last week. need na mag start ug save para maka travel na.

@ts i was inspired by your thread and same thing happened to us wala na mangita ug supporting documents. so nakaingon ko pwede ra diay mag lie sa atong application but my wifes uncle said the moment you paid for your application gi check na diay sa u.s. embassy imo background kay they have access kuno to records like your family business, bank accounts etc or they will call kinsa angay tawagan to confirm you thats why wala na daw mangita ug supporting documents. i wondered why naa bayad para mag apply u.s. visa kay they also exert effort diay to check your background.

questions asked to me were:

1. whats your purpose in travelling?
2. who is gonna pay for the trip?
3. how will you be paying for the trip?

question to my wife 1 only:

1. where do you work?

my 2 kids wala na gi ask question.

My tip:

1. ask Gods blessing and approval first pray sincerely.

2. if travelling book your airlines through wander lanes travel agency, was able to get a good deal from them yesterday.
will be travelling via air asiana 48k promo rate at asiana office at mactan airport but at wander lanes rate was only 45k so we saved 12k through wander lanes.

i dunno but i think daghan mn factors involved ana
1. consul - swerte f maka-timing nga good mood ang consul!

2. timing - super ka important!
first interview sa akong bana kay timing nibuto ang leakage news for PT graudates. Denied jd dayon bsag complete ang documentation, way daghan pangutana ang consul gd.. mao better mang-hearing2 kas latest news jd before ka mo-apply!

ana sila bsta fight ni pacman, daghan dw tourist visa ma-approve... ana sd sila during dec, daghan i-approve kay happy man ang mga consuls ky maka-uli sila sa US and spend time with their families so naay dakong chance nga they'll let you enjoy your xmas as well!

3. never show them that you badly want a tourist visa! - see it this way, if mo-visit ka sa country, you'll be spending your hard-earned cash didto..so swerte ra sa USA if moadto kas ilang nasud ahh! but dont be arrogant too..
Ayawg ipakita nga kahilakon nka dha kay d jd na sila maluoy nimo.. the more nimo ipakita nga interested ka, the more nila dili ihatag!

4. pray, pray, pray - but remember nga everything happens for a reason.. so f ma-deny mn ka today, basing naay something better for you in the near future..trust that god has better plans for you

Ok ra na bisag dili multiple entry.

If nindot imo record (meaning balik ka Pinas - dili mag-tnt), in your next application, fat chance they will give you a multiple entry.....

Down side is gasto lang.
