    FYI boss ang mio kalas jud na ug gasolina. if gusto jud ka ug tipid dapat honda wave 100 or crypton z imo paliton. pero pwede pa nimo ma optimize ang gasoline consumption sa imo mio by modifiying the engine. i know most of the guys who responded to your query are against it. but for me it really depends on what the owner of the said bike prefer. honestly depende ra jud if gi unsa pag modify imo engine. if you engine is modified for racing purposes kana kalas jud na imo motor ug gas samot na if methanol na imo itubil. hehehe... but if your engine is modified for balance in between power and consumption kana makita jud nimo ang deperenxa coming from your stock engine configuration. my mio is modified already when i bought it as 2nd hand. but i still made some upgrades to it subra pa sa iyang previous modification and spend thousands on it in fact wala pa jud na completo up to now but never jud ko nagmahay sa mga modifications. kung maguba man gani na imo motor due to modification it's either sa pag gamit or pag trabaho na jud na daugon and to be honest makaadik ang engine modification compared to accessories lang kay compared to accessories it's more than meets the eye kay ma feel jud nimo ang performance gain. so it's up to you!

    but for now if mo upgrade man jud ka. e skip lang sa nang big carburator kit better diretosa ka sa bore-up kit. mas daku chance motipid imo gasoline consuption if mag bore-up kit ka rather if mag upgrade ka diretso ug carb. sakto naman gud nang configuration sa imo stock carb para sa imo stock engine so if mag ilis ka ug daku mosubra na hinoun ang ihatag nga gas ug hangin sa imo makina kay nidaku man imo carb pero gamay gihapon imo engine. compared if mag bore-up kit ka mudako imo makina mas kusgan xa compared sa stock then if kulangun na ang supply sa imo stock carb kay pwede ra man xa ma rejet para musakto ang iyang supply nga gas ug hangin padung sa imo newly bore-up engine. just be sure lang nga ma break-in ug tarong imo engine para nindot jud iya dagan. pangita lang pud ug hasi nga mekaniko para walay mahay sa gasto. pwede ka ni insik, dwarko or mionation. kana sila kay tested na kaayo na mga mga shop/mekaniko.

    sakto ang idea ni box2joe....in my case, dili Mio ako motor sauna but an underbone...at first, 40-45 kilometers per liter lang ang makuha for my long ride home (52 kms to be exact), after boring up and carb upgrade, unbelievably, mu abot na xa 50-55 kilometers per liter. This depends pod on how you drive...kato siya kay long ride man so less ang acceleration and all I would have to do is maintain my speed. Katong stock pa ang motor, it needs more fuel to maintain the speed. After the upgrade, it can reach the speed with lesser RPM thus resulting to less fuel being used so mao na ni translate to more kms/liter. Pero if sige sad ka kumot nga murag racing racing then don't expect na makatipid jud ka.

    Sometimes, saving fuel means driving wisely.

    pwedi rana stock bai.. ang kilid lai usba.. ayaw pag ilis og carb kay stock raman imo makina.. samot noon na ka kas basta mag dako kag carb.. kas gidna gamay ang mio dependi sad nas dinrayban...
