there's no rumors that KG wants out of minnesota and kevin mchale and the timberwolves management decided not to trade KG. chances are, KG will remain in minnesota for one more season.

looking forward in 2008, minnesota could turn the franchise around. im setting my eyes on elton brand. if the clippers will still have another dismal performance this season, brand might look somewhere else as well. if KG would finally decide to opt out of minnesota, trade KG to free up salary space, take a decent point guard and sign elton brand

tim duncan, dwight howard, josh smith, gilbert arenas, ben gordon, and luol deng will most likely still end up with their current teams. thinking of rebuilding, jason kidd won't be a fit if minnesota lets KG go. to fill in the slack that would be left by KG, elton brand is the perfect fit, or probably emeka okafor (if charlotte let him go)

mao jud. especially after the timberwolves signed back randy wittman as the head coach. if randy foye could have ala deron williams or dwyane wade 2nd season then the timberwolves could get to the playoffs. the reason why mchale doesn't want to give away KG is that the t-wolves management wants to have a leader for their rising and future stars, randy foye, rashad mccants and craig smith. i guess KG's heart is with minnesota and i still believe he wants to turn this franchise around. after all, this is where he began, the team put it's faith in him signing him for $126M way, way before his prime, and maybe, just maybe, he's giving it back to minnesota right now.
