Hi, I need help/advice on how to connect two computers para dili nako mag transfer from one comp to another every time mo access ko ug files or even transferring my xternal storage device(which can eventually damage it). First computer nako has Globe(with modem) and the other is SmartBro Canopy. I already have extra ethernet cable.

PS: I'm not technically savvy.

first of all if you want direct peer to peer connection, your computers should have extra Network Interface Card

since each of your computer have their own Internet connection.

well yea, with her situation, each computer has its own Internet connection. so your idea is not the best thing to do, unless if ipa cut niya either globe or Smart bro.

Thanks for your advice. Locked man gud ko sa duha nako ka internet so dili pwede ipa cut. Anyways, I'll try your suggestion about the Network Interface Card, though wla koy idea unsa na Mangutana nalang sad ko inig purchase nako.

palit nalang Dual WAN Router, didto i-paslak ang duha nimo ka ISP, unya naa na man LAN ports ang kana nga router, didto nimo ipaslak ang imung mga computers.

Mahulog na usa nalang ka network ang imung home PC, unya, gamit pa nimo ang duha ka internet, load balancing or fail over.

Since 2007 pa ni akong SmartBro Canopy bro, wla ko ka kuha PLDT dsl kay wla line amo sitio. I have to pay pa sa line from UC Nautical until sa amo sitio... ugh!!! Then nag home-based ko kadyot so kinahanglan jud ko ug mas paspas nga connection so nikuha ko ug Globe last year.

Ganahan ko sa imo idea bro, usa ka router pwede na duha ka ISP, pero what do you mean by load balancing or fail over? Alternate ra nako gamit ako ISP or pwede nako ma connect two computers into their own ISP?
