The San Antonio Spurs have reached a deal with free agent guard Marco Belinelli according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

San Antonio has reached agreement on a two-year, approximately $6 million deal with free agent Marco Belinelli, league sources tell Y! (@WojYahooNBA)
Belinelli played last season with the Chicago Bulls and averaged 9.6ppg while shooting 39%FG and 35% from the 3-point line. He filled in nicely as a ball handler with Derrick Rose's absuence due to injury and that will be a plus for the Spurs, who count on Manu Ginobili to handle the ball off the bench as the backup point guard.

His shooting is something San Antonio desperately needs, especially in the Finals where the Spurs fell to the Heat. Belinelli averaged 11.1ppg on 41%FG shooting in two rounds this postseason.

Jeff Pendergraph, Spurs reach agreement on 2-year deal

The San Antonio Spurs agreed to a two-year deal with Jeff Pendergraph, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. Pendergraph entered free agency after spending the last two seasons with the Indiana Pacers.

Pendergraph averaged 3.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 37 games last season for the Pacers. The 26-year-old has not played more than 39 games in a season during his three-year career and played just 10 minutes per game last year. He is, however, a strong and physical big man who should provide quality depth for San Antonio.

The Spurs will likely not ask much of Pendergraph. Tim Duncan and Tiago Splitter are returning next season -- as are Boris Diaw, Matt Bonner and Aron Baynes -- so San Antonio is not short on big men. Pendergraph is just another big body and while he will see the court, especially in the regular season when Duncan's minutes are limited, the power forward will get as much playing time as he earns. That means outplaying Diaw and Baynes and being the more physical alternative to Bonner's shooting.
