    Defensively no question Tiago is better than Big Al. Offensively Big Al is way better than Tiago.

    Tiago doesn't have a jump shot while Big Al can certainly hurt opposing teams with his perimeter game and this will obviously compliment Timmy. Anyway it's a matter of priorities for the Spurs, if they want a defensive oriented big then Tiago is the better fit.

    Again, that would work IF the Spurs had a different offensive scheme.
