why i consider manu as luck for the spurs: ginobili is just a draft away from being undrafted (58 drafts). though international players are still unnoticed during that time and the spurs scouts did a great job on ginobili, any team might have taken him. he might have ended way above 57. there are a lot of draft busts in 1999, trajan langdon (11), frederic weis (15), and jonathan bender (5) (due to injuries) to name a few. at 57, the spurs are indeed lucky they're left with a potential star. :mrgreen:

the usual spurs triumvirate of tim duncan, manu ginobili and tony parker will give cleveland a lot of problems. cleveland's got only lebron james. gooden, ilgauskas, hughes and marshall are all inconsistent during the playoffs. the spurs is a lot better team compared to the pistons. for sure the spurs will exploit the interior of the cavaliers. tim duncan is too much for the cavaliers big men. not unless if lebron james will have his 40+ nights and maybe, just maybe daniel gibson will hit threes like crazy, then this series will go to the spurs.

though cleveland swept their regular season games against the spurs, san antonio can't be counted out yet. after all, it's the playoffs. it's spurs basketball at its best.
