I've done everything perfectly, result.....same temp, ni bug akong brightness control, not sure ko ha could be after sa 3.9.0 upgrade. pero minor issue rana.

Starting temp after boot is 56 degrees, kung nay process 60 - 65 degrees and currently holding at 65 degrees. Nalimot ko, akong processor is AMD E2 1.7ghz L2 APU. Well... probably this is normal with AMD E series processors. Gi check nako ang fan, 100% working and temperature sa bottom is ok raman pud based on my experience not as hot as HP DV6000.

somehow my lappy cant keep up with all those flashy things happening in every page i visit. more flash running = high cpu utilization = heat
in my case, since gi check nako ang processes via top, flash-plugin is 1.7% ra.

mga bro, based in your experiences, asay nindot gamiton nga distro pang slow netbooks. Xubuntu or Lubuntu?

i havent tried lubuntu so catn comment on it, but xubuntu yes. since it uses lightweight xfce

if mag view man gani ug flashvideo better use google chrome since it has its own built-in stable flash player.... have you guys set you distro to use all core sa cpu?

mga bro, naa lang ko pangutana. akong gi dmidecode akong system and I found out this.

    Memory Device
    Array Handle: 0x002C
    Error Information Handle: Not Provided
    Total Width: 64 bits
    Data Width: 64 bits
    Size: 2048 MB
    Form Factor: SODIMM
    Set: None
    Locator: DIMM 0
    Bank Locator: CHANNEL A
    Type: DDR3
    Type Detail: Synchronous Unbuffered (Unregistered)
    Speed: 1333 MHz
    Manufacturer: A1_AssetTagNum0
    Serial Number: 00000000
    Asset Tag: Not Specified
    Part Number: Not Specified
    Rank: 1
    Configured Clock Speed: 667 MHz

Is there a significant increase in memory performance by setting the configured clock speed to 1333mhz? Problema nako is walay setting sa akong bios nga ma configure and clock speed. Sa akong pc naa, pero sa notebook wala.

ngek! na mis interpret nako ang data. hehehe.

here's what I've found from this link TR Forums • View topic - Doubt on Memory speed.

    DDR3-800 (PC3-6400) = 400MHz
    DDR3-1066 (PC3-8500) = 533MHz
    DDR3-1333 (PC3-10600) = 667MHz
    DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) = 800MHz
    DDR3-1866 (PC3-14900) = 933MHz
    DDR3-2133 (PC3-17000) = 1067MHz

Surely, I'm already satisfied with the file system in my Xubuntu now. It's running smoothly. No further experimentation...

I just found out that the traditional /etc/init.d/networking is causing the crash everytime mag ssh reboot, instead "service networking-manager restart" is working perfectly.
