so that makes i 9k for 15 days and 18k monthly if im correct.

What you could do is add up all your expenses.

    Total Income less your expenses.
Then make a daily fixed budget for food.
If you have extra don't spend it, save it.

For me I have a baby and i'm the one's supporting them.
I rent my pad for 3k monthly.
I have a SUN postpaid which I pay 900 monthly.
What my wife does is seperate 1500/15 days for the milk and diapers= 3k monthly.
My budget is 1k per 15 days=2k per month.
    I average around 7k per payday=14k a month.

    Here's how we budget:

    14000 less 3k for Pad Rental=
    11k less 3k for baby=
    8k less 2k for my daily allowance=
    6k less Sun Bills= 5k.
I give the 3k to my wife for her wants and needs and 2k goes to savings.

I also have an attitude wherein I do not do utang or installment. It might seem that you're saving but it just adds up on expenses.
mao ni pinakanindot akong nakit an..

In my previous job, I had a lot of expenses and loans
from my family that I end up having zero savings..
Now with my new job, I have wisened up & learned the
art of self-control. That's why I am able to save now
    for my future

It also helps when you have a goal in mind that
you think a hundred times whether you need
to purchase or shell out from your cash on hand.
Good thing I don't own a credit card or else I'd be
    dead meat lols.

Right now, I spend less and pay my obligations on time
using the company allowance and a fraction of my basic.
Then I save the bulk of my basic in the bank right away.

Nagkatihik na jud ko gamay coz maulaw nako mo ask sa
    ako family hehehe
