    I was working on a firm way before nga mas dagko pagsueldo namo ang mga call center agents, naa sa elevator mga kasakay namo, ma feel gyud namo nga ila ming i discriminate, labi na kabalo sila nga professionals and pasado mi sa board exam pero sila dili pasado but mas dagko silag sueldo. Klaro raba gyud kaayo nga tuyo-on nila ug tabi ug istorya ug kusog sa ilang dagko kaayo nga sueldo.

    Will I guess it works both ways. Call center agents will also discriminate labi na pagnakabalo sila nga mas dako sila sueldo.
    It's a personal thing tingale, naa rana nimo kung unsa tanaw nimo sa imong kaugalingon. Ug unsaon nimo pagcontrol sa imong self nga dili ka mo discriminate.

    kay kasagaran ang mga huna2x sa ubang taw ang mga jobless bisan dli ilang linya dra punta sa CC.. pero sa ako ok rmn nang CC kay dako pd ug sweldo atleast limpyo. saludo ko anang mga CC agents kay dli lalim nang trabahoa, ikaw bay mag inglis2x dra lalim ba.

    It's not the type of job per se that causes the discrimination, but it's how MOST but not all of the job takers handle their actions.

    common factors I could say are;

    1. Arrogance - It doesn't give each and everyone of us the right to look down on other people. Gamay nga sipyat sa lain tao, manager dayon ang pangitaon ( be considerate sometimes) .
    2. One day millionaires - just like swildo karon, after a few days broke na dayon..(because of loans, credits, laag, gadgets etc)
    3. unprofessionalism - not just agents but also team leads and Operation managers. Not to mention the name of the company , but there's one BPO that I know of na manghagad og "gang bang" or "group s3x" ang team lead, and if mu decline gani ang agent , "powertripping" na dayon. (I pity my cousin who has experienced this derogatory kind of attitude from a supervisor.
    4. Braggarts - English only Policy jud bisan naa sa gawas sa office? Compulsory? It kinda sounds annoying especially knowing na dili na ang FLI(First Language Influence) sa speaker.. ("with all the accent and the like" ye know! )

    I was once part of this industry , so I could attest to it that it's not an easy thing to pass all the sets of interviews given, as well as the written examinations. This is a decent job supposedly, but because of the immaturity of some, who indirectly tends to destroy the reputation of other people who works for the purpose of sustaining themselves and their families, which makes this kind of living "stereotyped" in such a way by everyone else.

    ngano gd tawn eh discriminate ang mga call center agent?? ka au ra ana na work ah! pero if ako pastoryaon pareha rata tanan oi nanginabuhi y mn mo discriminate pata sa uban? lumalabay ra ang tanan depende ra na nmo if unsaon nmo pag handle sa uban! ayaw lng au dibdiba

    could be tungod sa stereo type agent.
    a typical callcenter agent is seen as hambug, kikay, gadget freak, palahubog, bisyo dire didto, promiscuous, social climber and so forth.
    we can't blame society for labeling a callcenter agent as down/low grade na profession since mao man pud ilang nakita. though we must also understand that not all call center agents are like that - uban gani kuwang nalang charity ang sweldo kay wala nay ilaha - and not because pala utang sila or mahilig silag palitpalit ug mga gadgets, but because its for their parents, family, self and justifiable means.
