i think depende sa LED TV bro
like the samsung S4 sa ako sis, dili mu play if inassemble ra
but plays USB3 | USB2 na branded like WD | samsung | Seagate with no problem
and also plays USB thumb drive with no problem at all
{ but the inassemble plays with NO problem sa Panasonic }
i think ang reason ani is kato post ni sir keropi regarding the Amperage
seagate 250g ang akong HDD unya i bought an external enclosure sa cdr. basahon man niya ang files, dili lang jud mu play kay unsupported format daw, unya akong kuhaon ang file itransfer nako sa 8g na usb, mu play man sya. unsaon kaha ni brod? akong last option ani ibaligya na lang.
Try nyo gamit ug usb cable nga naay auxilliary power:
If wala gihapon, gamit mo ug usb power adapter sa kato iya additional power inlet.
Hmm.. naa diay na sya power. Try lang test ang output sa iya power adapter. If not, then I guess it's support for 250gb or any HARD DISK drive. This is the same with older cellphones not supporting 8gb cards or even older PCs with hdd of more than 320gb. Plus, assuming that is a 3.5" drive, i dont think it is proper to be using that with a TV anyway since it is a power deficient plug-in device.
You can try to check this theory with an 80gb hdd.
