mao jud sad... be thankful enough kay haskang kadako sa ratio sa walay mga trabaho... pero dli sad jud kalikayan lagi nga naa mo lookdown kay tungod ra sad sa uban...
I am a licensed civil engineer. got my licensed way back 2006. after 3 years of working in my aforementioned profession (pretending to be an engineer and acting like an idiot) I resigned. I sucked at my job so applied for a call center. I've been doing this for the past 2 years. I sneak away when I see my colleagues in Sm or Ayala for fear of ridicule. I'm tired of their usual questions 'nganong the call center rman ka?'. Evade, parry and deflect. Sounds to martial artish?....yep i did that. I think the reason why those fools think about us that way is that they think all call center agents are dumb. Consdidering they (engineers) can't speak 5 sentences in correct english. They think highly of themselves, they're not even considered engineers in the US.
though im not working as a call center agent, most of my friends are, we do not have the right to discriminate them, in fact BPO industries pay much more taxes than other companies, daghang mga igsuon nga napaeskwela ug mga kinabuhi nga natabangan tungod sa ilang pagpanarbaho sa call center, dako ilahang sweldo kay grabeh sad baya ang stress, ikaw bai kasab-an ug balikason sa phone...dili lalim...ayaw huna-huna-a ang sulti sa uban TS, dili sila ang gabuhi nimu..you don't need them...
If discrimination is there,
then are CC agents are in a bad state,
I guess not, they are even paid higher salaries,
and not to mention communication skills is not an easy thing to do,
mostly if you are dealing with a multitude of callers having different personalities.

simple: insecure sila.
kinsa man nag lookdown aning call center agents ? daghan man gani applikante nga gusto manarbaho og call center pero di kapasar sa screening ,interviews og exam idescriminate na nuon.
discrimination is a broad word, sometimes sarcasm are mistaken as discrimanation but infact its just humor, depende nana if you accepted it constructively or descrutively... either way... it has become a stereotype due to the fact there are many CC agents nga GARA, HAMBUGERO or HILAS... ive meet a lot of this type and most of the time... they look down on other people... so di jud ka blame sa uban taw nga ubos na ang tan-aw....
