If I arrive in Cebu in few luggages, I would prefer to climb the stairs to the departure terminal to get the white taxi. But in Manila domestic airport, its more difficult to get the white taxi. Only the yellow ones are available.
I also have a friend who uses only the yellow taxi from airports. He says it is because they are more secure and regulated.

Yellow taxi is the airport taxi. It is much cleaner, and safer than the regular taxi. It's more expensive though. The regular taxi, is just a taxi. A lot cheaper than the yellow one.

Mahala pud ana oi P1500.00. It is cheaper in Singapore pala. I pay about P900.00 for a trip from the Changi Airport to my destination after 12 midnight which has a premium rate added to it. No more sub way services at this time. The distance is farther than Mactan to Cebu City.
Not true...
I always use the yellow cab in Manila because they use the meter. Especially if you are not familiar in Manila, it's safer to use the yellow cab than the regular taxi. Dili mangilad/mang-igo. The regular taxis there are very notorious in duping passengers.
But they have flat rates depending on your destination. Mahal lang.
