I'm a woman and I don't agree with this. or it depends on the woman if she's materialistic or what. but as for me, despite being raised in a bit of comfort, I love the simple things. long walks... intellectual talks... star gazing... backpack travels... the occasional gifts are okay. birthday, Christmas, and anniversary (no. not monthsary. too overrated). I love surprises. but really... a handwritten note or letter or his own song composition would do. musaka akong kilay anang mga babay nga grabeh ka materialistic.
