iphone experts, i have a question.

i currently own an iphone 4. it's been of service for mga 2years.

ang ako nabantayan ba, nagkahinay man ang performance niya like opening basic apps (msgs, email, calls)

naa pa ko mabuhat para ma improve iya performance? i have tried reducing photos and music files pero naa mu delay jd ig open.

and advisable pa ba nga magcge ko update sa ios? i am on ios 6.1.2 with evasion jb.

Im not an expert but try to update your iOS, close running apps (multitask "double press home") and restart your phone from time to time..

I'm no expert either by any means but if you have SBSettings, try clearing the processes regularly. Close apps that are not in use by going to multitasking. Not sure if it affects the speed also if you update your iOS to the latest version. Mura na cyag PC. Mo hinay magka dugay coz new OS requires certain specs to run at an optimal speed. My 2 cents

If it wont hurt you to reformat the phone, then format it. Juz make sure to back up your Cydia Apps since your jailbroken.

stay at 6.1.2. Do an iphone wipe (or back to stock but retaining the jailbreak) using "Semi-Restore" (google it). Once back to a fresh iOS 6.1.2 re install all your cydia repos, tweaks, themes, etc. And also your apps. Not to mention backup daan sa itunes before doing this. It is also advisable to cherry pick your apps to reinstall to your iphone. this way only the latest or most use apps, tweaks ra ang ma install leaving you with a much faster, more responsive iphone. install sad icleaner from cydia to clean unwanted files inside your iphone. just do basic cleaning ayaw lang try delete languages, not unless you know what your doing. yeah.
