Don't generalize. That's the general rule.

uhh why do you have to go and work there? why not bring work to the philippines and make it globally competitive?
if the country is well known for its hardworking people, then it shouldn't have trouble
    attracting foreign investments.

The reason people work there is because of the big difference in the salary they earn. Yes, we may be hardworking and can probably attract investors but still, our economy and gov't really sucks and they'll never get to earn as much as what they would earn if they worked there.

    ayaw nalang mo sukol ana,
kay bisag unsaon pa ninyu ug ka proud na
"Maayo pa ang Pinoy keysa nila" the fact that some of Pinoys are working in Singapore (not to mention other countries),
makes them a winner on that argument in general terms.

    1. If maayu pa ang Pinoy ana nila, then why are the Tech Jobs in SG rather than in PH?
    a. Their management in business is good.
    b. their management in government is excellent.
    c. their performance when it comes to RnD and other technologies is good (maybe also because of non-SG working in SG), sa Pinas there is virtually no RnD in here, Pinoys are only working from the RND of other nation.

If Pinoys are really good compare to them then Philippine should have been one of the top RND countries in Asia, but the truth is, nahhh, zero!

we are that good as we claim, but not that good as they claim.. I think.

sakit, pero somewhat tinood ilang mga patama, we pinoys are just too proud to accept our weaknesses.

I know because I have close friends working there for years now. Anyway, anywhere in the world there will always be racist people, we'll just have to live with that.
Sakto ni siya, usa rana ka singh so dili dapat e generalise. Like the philippines, naay good people naa say dumb/bad/uneducated people

but some of you should know why some filipinos having a hard time in looking for a job in Singapore.

    PAGE 5 says

lol,sayop2 man gani ila grammar, mga tapolan man gani ni sila.. tymingan tali nila mga botyok ang mga pinoy ang na atobang nila ky kong pareha nato edukado, sila mismo pwede nato ma tomban pro d lang ta manonob ky mto.o man ta ug gaba ug karma.

That is very true that Filipino's are being looked down in Singapore. But the fact is that Filipino's are not just being looked down or discriminated by Singaporeans. Other foreign places we Filipino's get that same discrimination. Don't you think that the problem is with us rather than with them?

Secondly most Filipino's in Singapore are house helpers. To be honest majority of them are not that educated; maybe most of them passed high school but the standard or quality of education is still very low. The OFWs are the ones representing our country, so how they behave will reflect our nation. Similar to koreans here in Cebu, we tend to generalize.

As a start we should try to see if there is a problem within us before we comment on what others think.

Regarding their English grammar I could say its pretty good for a country with a majority of Mandarin speakers. The gramar for most Filipino's english is not that good as well. For an example we tend to say the letter F as P.

We just need to show the WORLD, not just Singapore what we are capable of and prove them wrong!

Yeah I agree. We Filipino's tend to keep a blind side of our weaknesses and for that it becomes one of our weakness.

Thanks to the screwed up Philippine Law preventing foreigners investing and managing their businesses. Foreigners can't buy land for investments here, they need to have someone in RP to run businesses, they can't even own private properties. GI-ATAY NI NGA BALAOD!!!
    CHARTER CHANGE DAPAT!!!!!!!
