di man tanan...anybody who overclocks is an overclocker man... sa hardcore overclocker cguro not an issue na... for some, who just want a boost the performance by overclocking only to find out that the performance gain is like shit but the bill is wallet vacuum cleaner, it would either bitch about it or just stick to the stock clock.

You're questioning the value of the 5ghz chip once overclocked. Then the chip is not for you obviously. Practicality losses it's meaning at that range. It's a given that the Visheras hogs more power than usual once overclocked. Hence

I see two potential buyers here. The show-offs who wants to brag to friends that he got more cash so he got to own a 5ghz chip and the enthusiast who wants to push beyond 5ghz.

Those in need of 8-cores for rendering etc are rocking on an FX8350 already. Upgrading to these is useless for practicality reasons. If they want better performance per watt, wait for Steamroller and pray for enhanced efficiency.

I heard AMD is not competing with INTEL anymore, maybe they know and accept the reality hehehe...but I love the competition coz w/o it, cpu price would be more expensive...

For AMD, I think they have gained the best spot in APU in terms of reliability and good for the masses.
