Ako ra tingali muingon Tim Duncan.

I know some find him too boring but ma-enjoy man nako saon taman.

I like Duncan man sad, pero I'm not his fan. And I don't really find him boring at all. It's better than trash talks, hip hop and attitude on what's going on right now in a lot of teams.

I'm actually intrigued by this one. I don't know Hector Calma that much. Why is that?

one, if probably not, the best point guard the philippines has ever produced. maybe not taking account johnny abbarientos for that matter. calma is SMB's starting point guard during their glorious run during the 1980's, including the grand slam in 1989. he's regarded as one of the few "true point guards" of the philippines. though his numbers are not that impressive, he's still very effective on the court.

1990 official PBA annual on calma -- "Numbers just can't fully-determine this little guy's true worth - he just creates so many offensive situations which most often draw the line between victory and defeat."

sakto na tanan giingon ni makoyvelasko about Hector Calma, one of the true pure point guards, one of the best in PBA history...

why Nash reminds me of Hector? both are great shooters, and he doesn't need to score tons of points to be effective.. he knows a lot of ways to win games... fearless kaayo and perhaps fun to watch. Hector was and always my favorite PG in the PBA....

I think kung na bata bata si Hector karon, walay cguro makuha siya sa NBA just like Abarientos sauna na hapit gyud.... kay karon gud nihit na kaayo ang pure point guard, even sa PBA gamay nalang gyud kaayo...

mao bitaw usa pud cguro sa rason nga ang USA dream team sige lang ka sikwate, they have talent pero wala gyuy pure point guard(stockton, Magic, Payton etc.) sa ila lineup nga mag generate og plays... puro high flyers ang mga player with the exception of Duncan, na purya buwag lang pud mao ra gyuy nag follow sa fundamentals sa basketball..
