the way your diagram describes the fuel gauge situation is something akin to the red green show - simple but grabe ka epektibo ^_^

    guys... unsa inyo masulti?
basta gikan ka full tank, ana gyud na (look at the diagram ni gian sa page 282 to get a better guesstimation why) - i was just as surprised as you were on my first long drive nga gi ablihan gyud nako ang gas cap, gi ku-ot nako ug stick para makita ang gas level - and ni ubos gyud cya. alangan. however, ang mileage tan.awa. personally, i still make a little over 50km/liter - sometimes mo near 55km/liter on long drives. since naa may cambio atong motor, pakusog can be a relative term. ingon ani na lang - the more mo lubag ka sa gasolinador, mas kalas gyud ug gas, no matter ug kusog or dili kaau kusog imong dagan ^_^

first of all, sorry for the long post. i just wanted to share this experience.

not 40 minutes ago, i dropped my girlfriend off at her home and got some dry clothes in a dry bag. on my route to work (i work in the ramos area), i had to pass underneath the overpass in mambaling.

if you guys look outside right now, it is raining so heavily i could swear this rain looks like as it were the rains way back in the day when ruping devastated cebu. a few hundred meters after the overpass, it was flooding so deep that the level almost got up to my shin whilst i was riding my namigator (my rouser's name). i was already late so i had to brave the waters. up ahead, i saw xrm's, xlr's, dt's, a cbr, i think one was an fz, a couple of multicabs, cars, jeepneys and lots of people with vehicles that obviously sputtered out due to the flood. i wanted to turn back but i already heard namigator's muffler bubbling underneath the water level. i was invested, there was no turning back.

on first gear at a little over 4,000 rpm, i was managing the clutch as best i could to maintain a constant pace and to, most of all, avoid backflow into namigator's exhaust. after what seemed like forever (in actuality, it was probably almost a hundred meters of flood water which was 2 feet deep, more or less) i and namigator made it through the watery grave unscathed. i couldn't help but let out a burst of triumph - YEAAAAHHH! me and namigator were the only one that made that obstacle at that moment. some people applauded me for this small victory. i turned around and saw other motorcyclists follow my feat for a couple of minutes, and their rides died out on them. i was already late as it was, so i put namigator in gear and went on.

with freshly changed clothes, i now sit in my office chair feeling warm in this cold rainy night.

ok ra ning mo dive ug baha basta di lang jud nimo pagngon ang makina. or ang baha dili lapas sa muffler height. if ever ma encounter jud ninyo mapagngan sa baha, possible nasudlan na tubig. inyong buhaton para kapadagan pa mo. abliha ang spark plugs then kick start simultaneously para mugawas ang mga tubig then balik ang spark plugs. drain gamay inyong carburetor then start your bike. 1st thing 1st, run to the nearest service center to flush and change oil.
