Check Article 15 of the Family Code. It provides:

Article 15. Any contracting party between the ages of twenty-one and twenty-five shall be obliged to ask their parents or guardian for advice upon the intended marriage. If they do not obtain such advice, or if it be unfavorable, the marriage license shall not be issued till after three months following the completion of the publication of the application therefor. xxx xxx xxx.

so, puede mkasal maski wala ang parental advice. huwat ra mo ug 3 months after na publish inyo application for marriage license.

If they do not obtain such advice, or if it be unfavorable, the marriage license shall not be issued till after three months following the completion of the publication of the application therefor. A sworn statement by the contracting parties to the effect that such advice has been sought, together with the written advice given, if any, shall be attached to the application for marriage license. needed jud na TS if you guys want yourselves to acquire a marriage contract( a major requirement for couples who are below 25 years old wanting to tie the knot or kung kinsa sa inyong duha..

medyo hassle pud na gamay kay needed daw ang presence sa parents ngadto sa City Health
Good thing my wife and i were over 25 when we got married...(although we don't have problems getting one if ever i require mi...)

unsa may problema TS? nganu di man mu ganahan musulti sa inyong mga ginikanan sa inyong plano? basin di mu tugtan? hahaha
TS getting married is DEAD serious...talk to as much people if you're planning to go through it...
parents are supposed to be on the TOP priority on the "folks that needs to know" List

    just my 2 cents..
