Di man siguro na mao iya pasabut.. Pero it's like Ichigo using his shinigami powers without actually knowing his real Zanpakutou.. like a popular line sa bleach "Knowing and not knowing makes a difference in power".

kad2 old man Zangetsu is like his Quincy power's persona manifestation within himself.. wala cya kabalo nga dili diay to mao gyud iyahang zanpakutou..

dili ko expert pero akong pag sabut murag kad2ng "Old man Zangetsu" is holding Ichigo's actual shinigami powers to make it usable for ichigo.. Basin dili pa kaya gyud ma control ni Zanpakutou seeing that Ichigo gets taken over by white during his battle with ulquiorra.

Now what if Ichigo actually control's his actual shinigami powers and his zanpakutou.. murag nindut kaayo..

sa akong pagsabot, si Zangetsu the old man is holding back and controlling ichigo's zanpakutou "White" para iyang magamit iya shinigami powers..

Murag si Zangetsu ang medium para iyaha ma control and gamit iya shinigami powers kay dili pa ma control ni Ichigo..

kung sa Naruto pa, Zangetsu is like the seal holding back the Kyuubi and just allowing enough kyuubi chakra to leak para ma control sa user.. the Kyuubi here is Ichigo's Zanpakutou and full shinigami powers which is shown nga murag dili pa kaya ni ichigo i-control.. krn nga kblo na cya, basin iya na macontrol..
