this is really a good project, daghan jud matabangan nga mga tao especially those thousands of people working in MEPZ 1,2 &3 who are living south of cebu city...this will also have a good impact on cordova economically aron mo-improve na jud intawn nang lugara...

the difference between cebu and all those places na ginacompare nato mga istoryans is political will rajud..if the government wills it mahitabo jud ni..

A big difference between Cebu and those other places mentioned is that our country is an archipelago.

infrastructure projects would only benefit certain areas like the subsidized MRT system in Manila. Likewise, a 3rd bridge or tunnel connecting Cebu to Mactan would only benefit the people in the region. In terms of cost/benefit, it becomes difficult to justify when you look at the overall situation at the national level. It would be easier to do if we had a federal form of govt since we would have control over the funds... but intil then the LGU's will have to band together and lobby for this from the national govt.

ang hanging part of MRT in SG is diha dapit sa residential areas nga naa sa mga more or less last stations. mao nang dili hugaw ang mga stations sa SG. di parehas sa atoang MRT/ LRT sa Manila kay diha lagi sa mga busy areas of metro manila, hugaw jud kaayu. plus, imagina ra gud atong nasud. ang mga residential og business districts sa atoa magtapad ra. sa US, Canada, HK, & even SG separate ang business district and residential district.

Tungod man sad gud na na atong government wala mag allocate ug lugar para ra jud sa Business ug uban pa... diri sa pilipinas tungod sa DEMOCRASYA nga nasobraan, free ka bisag asa ka mutukod anang imung business... first, this is very old news the article maybe new, the idea of 3rd bridge was hatched before pa nag kontra si tomas ug doling, that time ongoing pa ang srp.... 2nd the airport on cordova might be a good idea, but trust me this is similar sa idea before to transfer NAIA... too many stakes... afaik naa nay plan to privatize or renovate MCIA... either way i still benefit which ever asa madayon ani... now question is... DO THEY HAVE THE WILL TO CARRY ON?
