Would you believe that the Holy Bible that we are holding right now were intentionally ALTERED? There were more than 200 Gospels originally and it was taken and shortened to much lesser quantity. Some of the contents in the bible were changed by they called themselves "rigtheous" people. They took some of the gospels and labeled it as "heretics"! Would you believe?!?!?!?!??!?

I dont think so. Yet I know that there are some gospels which were not included in the Bible as they are not divinely guided by the Holy Spirit. I know two of them.

The Epistle of Saint Thomas, (made a movie "Stigmata") and the Gospel of Barnabbas (believed to be written by a Muslim).

as we all know dan brown is a fiction author though he based everything on facts and actual history but it doesn't mean that his writings can be taken as his interpretation of history

... which doesn't mean that the apology includes everything you can think of, but only those that did happen and are really atrocious (taken in the context of their times).

Just a point of departure. Every time you hear anything that says something negative about the Church, try to find out the truth. Pray (as you never prayed before - with all your mind, with all your heart and with all your strength) that you may be guided by the Holy Spirit in your quest for the objective truth. Hear the side of the Church and hear the argument of the other. Then, work your way out to secular, relatively-unbiased sources. Be sure to consider the era where the event happened. What we consider barbarous today may just be the way things were back then.
