Xlibris murag Production Worker ang mga employees.. Patay trabaho cge lang overtime ..
Xlibris pays well, yes. And as a Publishing Consultant, or generally, a sales consultant for this matter it's a "which is which" game for most people. When I say which is which, I mean which do you want to choose? A balanced life or being payed well and not enjoying it?
You would be lucky if you got a day shift (ANZ Accounts usually; or step out of the sales department). But to the other people who work at night, it's brutal. Most of my friends don't have outlets and resolve to AWOL. They're dead-beat when they get home and don't have time for their family or do normal errands. The stress and the pressure will always be there unless sales talk and convincing people is your forte. Quotas are literally haunting you all the time.
I worked for the company for 3 months. My performance was above average, especially when it came to handling customers. I had bits of infractions on my 2nd month, but they told me I could stay if I reached my quota the next month. Which I did. Still got fired for it. I don't really know what their rules are because most managers can't seem to keep up with them or do understand them. And in my case, the manager wasn't always there. She arrives an hour after our shift ends. So I really don't know what her foundation was for her judgement on my performance. My supervisor, who sees me every time, was becoming enough to try and convince our manager, to keep me but obviously, nothing. I think this is a gamble. If you're good at sales and love doing it and don't really mind politics in your employment subsistence, then this is the perfect job for you. But if you're the type of person who has limitations when it comes to stress-points and value fair play, just hope you get in the hands of a good department and if not, deal with it. Your profession is hanging by a thin thread that the company is loosely idling with. They can just cut you off anytime if you do not meet their expectations.
And now they want me back and get a job at the marketing department. Their rule for previous employees who plan to apply again is to wait 6 months or more (correct me if I'm wrong) before they can do so. They told me I could come back in 2 months. I just had enough by then. The rules are not stable and unreliable. I'm very much contented with my home business and my part-time job, and I wouldn't want to throw this away or put this on hold for something inconstant.
But to their defense, they do give a lot of money hahaha and there are people who find solace in that niche. I think it's all about character here. If the company suits you, then go with it. If you feel like you can't take it, try testing the waters. Who knows, maybe you can do it and you'd be very good at it. If not then, move on. Just letting you know what to expect.
There are companies out there who give 20k+ salaries now. Australian/ New Zealand accounts or companies usually give that much. Try applying at Outburst Inc.. They're looking for a Social Media Specialist. (You get payed to go on Facebook and Twitter all day, everyday.) I used to work here too before I decided to do my own business. Just email them info@outburstinc.com
