i've been itching for the next biggest RTS game for so long now.. (dota may have filled such void in me atleast for somtime though. hehe!) and now, knowing it's nearly here, the long wait will soon be over.
i believe there will be a new race added, i even feel it will be a couple of em. a total of 5 playable races. with blizzard, that's not far from happening.
as one said, blizzard is known for how they give out surprises, and i doubt this one will be any different.
i doubt this would complicate any so-called transition from the original. blizzard is good at balancing games (similar to how they're endlessly trying to balance the different 9 classes for WoW).Originally Posted by ares623
either way, old starcraft gamers, for sure, will see this is an entirely different game, and will probably start at more or less the same levels with new players.
that being said, i hope to see meming and his crew in the next starcraft 2 wcg games. hehe.![]()
Anyone seen or heard what are the PC requirements for this thing.
I hope the stick to emphasizing gameplay over "eye candy."
from the looks of it, doesn't look very heavy.. maybe like C&C 3.. i dunno.
but i read that you could adjust the settings, so that's very good.
Murag C&C 3, huh?Originally Posted by ares623
If that's the case then maybe some of us here who still use a Pentium 4 (Northwood) or the "Socket A/462" Athlon/Sempron processors don't really need to buy a new computer diay. Basin a mid to high-end AGP Video card lang diay ang kahinanglan. That is of course kung available pa ba ang mga yun-ana na AGP video cards.Originally Posted by from [url
IIRC, arctech na lang man cguro ang adunay mga yun-ana ka mahal na mga AGP video cards.
Dont worry guys. I downloaded the new gameplay over Blizzard.com, and though it looks good, doesnt look too much/heavy. I played Doom 3 on my LX5700 P4 3.0 Ghz with no problem, even C&C3. SC2 will definitely be lighter. As I said earlier, Blizzard aint dumb. Look at WOW, the reason so many people play it is cuz aside from the well-known world, its requirements is low.
Name of Blizzard + SC franchise + low system requirements = $$$$$ MILLIONS $$$$$
So whats the best place to get AGP cards? Im planning to upgrade soon anyway. Above LX5700.Originally Posted by grss1982
even if it is heavy, you could still adjust the settings to very very low, and play. hehe.
but you probably need new video cards because of all those Pixel Shader 2.0 thingy..
^^ I think Blizzard merely said supports, not really required. For the best experience, of course that is needed.
