    inspiring indeed.

in addition to @nodols3's post, pwede pud sa bpi iagi ang treasury bills. treasury bills ky mas gamay in amount than that of treasury bonds.
those are examples of a conservative type of investment also known as "fixed income" securities/ investments.
another conservative type is special deposit accounts. banks gihapon ang trustee and gi-invest ang money sa gov't. pero nearly mo equal ra ang rate ani sa inflation rate. special deposit accounts may run short or medium term while retail treasury bills and bonds ky short to long term. yes, considered siya as secured because you are investing sa gov't and in case mo down ang economy, the gov't can use the last resort to pay you by printing money bills.

What I did prior to investing is wiping out my credit card then building my emergency fund. Never ever go to investing without emergency fund coz it's too risky and we don't know where the market is heading.

If you earn P500T a month then walay financial education and discipline, wala gihapon.
For a husband and a wife, dapat mainfluence gyud sa financially educated iyang partner kay para di masayang ang kwarta.
If the one nga dili financially educated and disciplined ang modominate, mawaldas gyud na ang kwarta.
Savings should be a priority for a couple. Unfortunately, ang naa sa huna2x are buying a better house, buying a better car, asa movacation, buying gadgets, etc.
Don't get me wrong, nindot man kaayo if naa ning mga butanga but everything should be placed in the proper perspective.
Only buy those things either if you have planned your finances adequately or if nanubra na gyud imong kwarta.
